Sambosa Meditation Center

Master Chung-Hwa

Welcome to Sambosa Diamond Meditation Center

The Master Chung Hwa (pictured at right) knows that one can lead a happier and more fulfilling life through the practice of meditation and prayer. Meditation can enable us to bring health, wealth, success, and happiness into our lives as we release stress, increase awareness, improve our minds and find our true inner self-nature.

Buddhism is increasingly popular in western countries for several reasons. First, it has answers to many of the problems of modern materialistic societies. Second, it includes a deep understanding of the human mind (and natural therapies) which prominent psychologists around the world are now discovering to be both very advanced and effective.

Everyone is important and has great potential locked within themselves. However, we waste time looking to external sources for fulfillment, when the truely lasting fullfillment and happiness can only be satisfied by one's self. The three "jewels" of Buddism: Buddha, Dharma and Sangha form the foundation for these beliefs and we have provided a brief introduction to each topic -- accessable from the menu on the left.

More about Sambosa

Sambosa is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to share Dharma teachings, promote harmony and peace, and contribute to the American community in which we live. Dharma meetings are open to everyone and over night stays are possible based on the availability of rooms. Your questions via telephone, e-mail or FAX are welcome.

The Sambosa Main Dharma Hall burned down eight years ago; however, plans to reconstruct a world renound meditation center are under way. To this end; both direct donations and indirect donations (through friends) are certainly welcome. We greatly appreciate your continued support and pray for your happiness through the grace and truth of Buddha.
